There is a reason this place has earned over 13,700 reviews with a solid 4.1 rating. The service is genuinely impressive, they check in about the taste and quality at every step, ensuring you are completely satisfied. My dish initially felt a bit spicy for my palate (I’ve shifted to milder food lately), and they immediately replaced it without any hesitation. The roti basket is an absolute must-try, fresh, warm, and perfectly made. A great experience overall, and definitely worth visiting!
Review: Dutt Guru Krupa Pure Veg Restaurant, Indore
Dutt Guru Krupa is one of the oldest and most trusted pure veg restaurants in Indore — and for good reason. With a spacious and clean setup spread across ground + one floor, it offers a comfortable and cozy dining experience whether you're visiting as a couple or with a large group.
The food is consistently excellent. Their Kolkata Kathi Roll is a unique highlight you won’t easily find elsewhere, and the Shev Bhaji is absolutely mouthwatering. The Dal Makhani is rich and flavorful — truly in a class of its own. They also serve a refreshing welcome drink that's tangy and tasty, adding a nice touch to the overall experience.
Service is quick, staff are polite, and the ambiance strikes a perfect balance between casual and classy. I've been coming here for over 10 years, and the best part? The taste has never changed. That kind of consistency is rare.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic veg cuisine in Indore!

"Dutt Gurukripa Restaurant in South Tukoganj, Indore, didn't quite live up to my expectations. The food was overly spicy, which upset my stomach. We ordered Seb Tamatar, Dal Tadka, Masala Papad, Missi Roti, Plain Tawa Roti, and Plain Curd, but the dishes didn't impress. The Plain Curd was particularly disappointing - ₹80 for less than 100 ml seemed overpriced. The cleanliness and service also needed improvement, with the waiters and staff lacking skills. Poor management added to the negative experience. Overall, I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately, I won't be returning and would recommend trying other options in Indore."
We had dinner over there and then for some dish that was half left, we asked them to parcel it for home. They had put it in a plastic polythene and handed over to us. This is really a bad experience. We do not prefer getting a warm cooked food in plastic. Had similar experience when once I ordered Butter khichdi from Gurukripa last night some months back.
