Yes. Go to My Profile → Contact Details to update and verify via OTP/email.

My Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account. Deleting is permanent and removes listings, chats, and saved items.

Badges (e.g., Email/Phone Verified) appear once you complete simple checks—it helps other users trust your profile.

Listings: Ownership, Claims & Transfers

If a business/venue/service already has a listing on RightIndia.com but wasn’t created by the real owner, the rightful owner can claim it.

How to claim:

Open the listing → Claim this listing.

Submit proof (matching phone/email, business document, website/domain email, utility bill with address, etc.).

Our team reviews; upon approval the listing moves into your My Listings under your Owner account.

Use Report → Wrongful claim on the listing and attach proof of ownership. We’ll lock edits while we investigate.

Yes. In My Listings → More → Transfer, enter the recipient’s RightIndia.com email. They must accept before the transfer completes.

Posting Rules & Content Standards

Illegal goods/services; stolen items

Counterfeits; currency/IDs/tickets without transfer rights

Weapons/explosives; adult content

Endangered wildlife products

Hate speech, discrimination, violent or deceptive content

Malware, hacking tools, illegal surveillance gear

Prescription drugs/regulatory items without compliance

Search, Discovery & Alerts

Set your city/area in the location bar and use filters like distance, price, condition, and photos.

Run a search → Save Search → enable email/push alerts to get notified of new matches.

New ads need a few minutes to index. Ensure it’s active, in the correct category/location, and that your search filters aren’t excluding it.

Where enabled, you can switch to map view and browse listings by area.

Messaging & Safety

Use the Chat/Send Message button on the listing. Keep conversations on RightIndia.com for traceability.

Yes—use the attachment and location features where available. Never share OTPs or full banking details.

In chat, use ⋯ → Report/Block. On listings, tap Report and include details/screenshots.

We don’t hold funds or guarantee off-platform transactions. Meet in public, verify items, and use payment methods you trust.

Yes—choose chat-only or click-to-reveal. You’ll still receive chat notifications.

Promotions & Billing

Depending on category/city: Featured (highlighted), Top/Refresh (periodic bumps), and Spotlight/Homepage (premium slots).

No—they increase visibility. Good photos, accurate pricing, and quick replies are key

My Profile → Billing. Add your GSTIN to get GST-compliant invoices.

Once a promotion starts delivering, it’s generally non-refundable. If purchased by mistake, contact Support immediately for review.

Managing Listings (Edit, Pause, Delete, Duration)

My Listings → Edit. Significant changes (e.g., category) may trigger re-review.

Pause hides your listing without removing data. Delete permanently removes it and its history.

Duration varies by category/city. We notify you before expiry so you can Renew.

Yes—My Listings → Duplicate, then update title/price/photos before publishing.

Reviews & Ratings

Users who interacted through RightIndia.com (e.g., chat/transaction) can rate each other.

You can edit within a short time window. Report abusive or policy-violating reviews for moderation.

Positive behavior (responsiveness/ratings) may help visibility in some categories, but no specific placement is guaranteed.

Technical Troubleshooting

Refresh, clear cache/cookies, disable ad-blockers for the site, try another browser/incognito, and ensure OS/browser are up to date.

Use JPG/PNG, ensure stable internet, keep files within size limits, and try compressing large images.

Check spam/promotions, confirm your email/phone in My Profile, and note DND settings can delay SMS.

Make sure you’re signed in, refresh the thread, and confirm neither party is blocked or the listing paused/sold.

Data, Privacy & Security

My Profile → Privacy → Download My Data. We’ll notify you when it’s ready.

Use Delete Account in My Profile. This removes your listings, chats, and saved data.

Yes—My Profile → Privacy → Ad Preferences, plus your browser’s cookie settings.

Use Contact → Responsible Disclosure with technical details. Please avoid public exploits.

Location, Language & Accessibility

Use the location bar at the top of category/search pages.

RightIndia.com primarily serves India; availability and features may vary by region.

English is primary; additional languages roll out regionally over time.

We aim for keyboard navigation, alt text, and screen-reader friendly markup. Report barriers to Support.

Fees, Limits & Anti-Spam

Many categories are free; some may have limits or optional paid placements depending on city/category.

Yes—limits prevent spam/duplicates. Repeated or multi-city duplicates may be restricted or removed.
